A couple weeks ago, Salesforce and IBM announced a historic partnership to combine the power of Salesforce’s emerging Einstein and IBM Watson’s cognitive computing platforms to power greater insights, new applications and ultimately success for their customers. Both companies have taken unique approaches to applying cognitive computing to business problems.
Salesforce has focused Einstein on providing its customers with insights that drive better customer service, more productive sales teams and deeper marketing insights, all consistent with its core platforms value drivers. IBM has focus on broader and larger business problems across many platforms and domains of interest, and the have been doing this for many years and with many partners. Today IBM is arguably the leader in cognitive computing globally with their very robust Watson platform.
At Stantive, we have been developing software on Salesforce for as long as that has been possible - over 10 years. Our OrchestraCMS native content management platform is powering some of the largest and most complex digital solutions today, all natively, all on Salesforce. We saw the power of Watson to transform digital applications and assets several years ago and became a Watson Partner to begin exploring how it could be applied to our OrchestraCMS platform in ways beyond the obvious.
With the new partnership between Salesforce and IBM, integrating that innovation across two platforms will no longer be one of our challenges, and we’re incredibly excited by what the future holds. Digital and Cognitive are on a collision course that will unleash as yet unimagined value. At Stantive, we will be in a leadership position and will continue to redefine innovation in content management and delivery across virtually unlimited digital channels. Stay tuned!
